Agreement to terms

By creating an account or using LaborXL, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the platform.

What LaborXL is

LaborXL is a membership platform that lets workers anonymously share information about pay, hours, and working conditions, and see aggregated data drawn from members across their industry, role, and region.

LaborXL is not a union, a law firm, an employer, or a financial advisor. Nothing on the platform is legal, financial, tax, or HR advice — for those, talk to a licensed professional.

Eligibility & your account

You must be at least 18 years old to use LaborXL. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for any activity on your account.

Membership & billing

• LaborXL membership costs $3/month, billed through Stripe.
• You can cancel anytime from your account — no questions asked. Cancelling stops future billing; it does not retroactively refund past charges unless required by law.
• We may change membership pricing in the future, but we'll always tell you before any change affects you.

Acceptable use

To keep LaborXL useful and trustworthy for everyone, please don't:

• Submit false or intentionally misleading check-in data to manipulate aggregate statistics.
• Use the platform to harass, threaten, or identify any specific individual, coworker, or employer.
• Attempt to access another member's account or de-anonymize other members' data.
• Use LaborXL for any unlawful purpose.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Disclaimers & limitation of liability

LaborXL is provided "as is." We work hard to keep it accurate and running smoothly, but we don't guarantee the platform will be error-free, uninterrupted, or perfectly accurate at all times.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LaborXL and its operators aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use LaborXL after changes means you accept the updated terms.
