Overview

LaborXL ("we," "us," or "our") is built on a simple promise: your individual data is never exposed, sold, or shared with employers. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

• Account information — the email address and password you use to sign up (your password is stored securely by our authentication provider; we never see it directly).
• Profile details — anonymous demographic info like industry, employer type, role, time in position, city, and state. We do not ask for your name or your employer's name.
• Payment information — your $3/month membership is processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
• Messages you send us — anything submitted through "Questions & Comments," including the page you sent it from.

How we use your information

We combine check-in responses across all members into aggregate statistics — by industry, role, and region — that every member can see on their dashboard. No individual response is ever shown or attributed to a specific person.

We use your account information to authenticate you, manage your membership and billing, and respond to messages you send us.

Who we share data with

We do not sell your data, and we do not share individual responses with employers, advertisers, or any other third party.

We rely on a small number of service providers to run LaborXL:

• Google Firebase — hosting, authentication, and database storage.
• Stripe — payment processing for memberships.

These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy and security commitments, and only to the extent needed to provide their service to us.

Data retention & your choices

You can stop your membership at any time from your account. If you'd like your account and associated data deleted, email us at contact@laborxl.com and we'll take care of it.

Children's privacy

LaborXL is intended for working adults and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of LaborXL after changes means you accept the updated policy.
